NTPC’s 48th Raising Day was celebrated with great gusto today in North Karanpura at the magnificent lawns facing the township situated Recreation Club .
The Chief Guest for the occasion Shri Tajinder Gupta , CGM, North Karanpura hoisted NTPC Flag and along with senior dignitaries and President and members of Vasundhara Ladies Club released colourful balloons signifying NTPC’s meteoric growth in future. Young kids of the township also joined in to release the balloons and their gleeful faces lit this customary activity.

Addressing the jam packed audience, Shri Tajinder Gupta highlighted the marvelous achievements NTPC has made in recent times , while signifying on how North Karanpura is all set to contribute majorly in companies future achievements.
On the occasion, Shri Gupta while appreciating the team work at North Karanpura and the major milestones achieved by the team , urged employees to adopt highest standards of safety as way of life . He also praised the constant support of Vasundhara Ladies Club, Sports Council , NKEWA , CISF , ICH and other vendor partners.
His address was followed by cake cutting ceremony and a beautiful cultural program performed by students of DAV Public School.
In the end Shri A K Chawla , AGM (HR) gave vote of thanks . The function was attended by Shri L K Behera , GM (Project), Shri Diptendu Mandal, GM (O&M), Shri A. R. Dash GM ( Maint) , Shri S.N. Bera GM (FM) and other senior employees.
